MEDIMUN is an in-person conference, but taking part REQUIRES the student to bring their own laptop or tablet that can connect to the internet and run MediBook, either at www.medimun.org in a web browser or through the MediBook app.
A delegate cannot take part without a device. Debate, voting, roll call, resolution and clause writing, and all communication with their committee happen through MediBook. There is no paper alternative. A student who arrives without a working device cannot participate.
A device with a physical keyboard is strongly recommended. Delegates write and amend resolutions throughout the conference, and an on-screen keyboard makes this considerably harder.
The device must arrive charged, and the student is responsible for keeping it charged during the conference.
If you use parental controls, screen-time limits, content filtering, or a school-managed device, you must allow access to www.medimun.org and its subdomains before the conference begins. A blocked or restricted device counts as no device.
I undertake to ensure that the student attends with a suitable, charged, internet-capable device on every day of the conference.
