I acknowledge and accept that the student attends the conference as a member of their school's delegation, and that responsibility for their supervision, conduct, welfare, transport, accommodation and general care at all times rests with their school and with the school director or other member of staff accompanying the delegation, and not with MEDIMUN (Mediterranean Model United Nations).
I acknowledge that MEDIMUN (Mediterranean Model United Nations) does not act in loco parentis, does not provide supervision of individual students, and does not undertake any duty of care in respect of the student beyond the safe operation of the conference venue and programme.
I acknowledge that MEDIMUN (Mediterranean Model United Nations), its organisers, volunteers and the host institution accept no liability for loss, damage, injury, illness or expense arising from or in connection with the student's attendance, save to the extent that such liability arises from their own negligence and cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Nothing in this acknowledgment excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability which the applicable law does not permit to be excluded or limited.
I confirm that the student's school has made, or will make, such arrangements for insurance, travel and medical cover as it considers appropriate, and that MEDIMUN (Mediterranean Model United Nations) is not responsible for arranging or verifying that cover.
